My Toyota doesn’t start, what the hell
Maybe next time I’ll get me a Nissan
And my boss says he’ll fire my ass
And my wife has declared me missing
So it’s high time I get a fresh start
Leave behind all that’s painful and heavy
How about you elope with me?
Over state lines in your little Chevy
Though your ‘service engine soon’ light is on
And your brake lights are clearly busted,
That old fuel gauge is pointing at ‘full’
And your chassis is not all that rusted
So, my Chevy chickadee, what you say?
I bet together we could still turn’em tables
Let us drive into the thick of the night
