Be Aware, Amazon is Selling Your Returns
And you may not like it
Two things: almost everyone I know has shopped on Amazon. It’s convenient, efficient and the prices are as good as anywhere — even better; and the company appears to be customer friendly.
But are things as they seem?
Amazon has done the unthinkable. They’ve pissed off many of their loyal customers.
“How so?” you ask.
“Amazon prides itself in being customer friendly,” you say.
I don’t think they even gave it a thought.
Returns
One of the attractive aspects of doing business with Amazon is their liberal return policy. Those of us who are use to trying on the goods at a brick and mortar store or squeezing the apple for firmness find it a little disconcerting to trust an image on a computer screen. We relish Amazon’s liberal return policy with the price of purchase refunded.
Oh I know we’ve heard they sell unwanted items on the cheap in the after-market. What do we care, we’ve been protected. Dissatisfaction with the product in almost any way we get a full refund of our money.
Once we release the recently purchased item, it’s Amazon’s to do with it what they want.
