BREAKING: Gary is “Interested” In a St. Patrick’s Day Facebook Event
This could mean any number of things.
The notification appeared at 9:48am on Thursday morning and people started noticing it shortly after.
“I guess I assumed it meant he was glad that it was happening? Or maybe he’s just like, generally interested in St. Patrick’s Day? I don’t know. Honestly? I’m baffled,” said party host “Amanda”.
“Amanda” asked for us to use a different name to protect her identity as well as the location of the party. She hasn’t told her parents Michael and Donna Chesterton, that she’s having it. Michael and Donna were both ok with their real names being used and now “Amanda” (Chesterton) is in big trouble.
To complicate an already complicated situation, Gary doesn’t even live in Peoria anymore but is going to school in Baltimore. Some locals took this as a showing of solidarity, while others interpreted it as a potential clue that he might be making a surprise appearance at Saturday’s event. Upon closer examination, Gary is interested in two additional simultaneous events, a “Queer Irish Film Screening at the Baltimore Public Library” and “PATTY~~ PARTY **PATTY” which he is “maybe” going to attend.
Will this Saturday make Gary a very busy boy? Or is he all talk?
Gary’s Facebook Wall makes it clear that his improv show that night will be “a lot of fun”, but some of his friends already have a suggestion for him…
“Just pick yes or no. It’s not fair to “Amanda” and you already ruined her party because now my parents know all about it,” complained Stacy Chesterton who doesn’t see any point in going by “Amanda” anymore.
What does Gary’s cryptic response mean? There’s no way to know for sure…but we’re certainly interested to see how things shake out. Especially since we weren’t even invited to the party in the first place. Maybe we can all learn from this.
UPDATE: Gary did not respond to any of our Facebook messages asking for a comment, but he has ‘shared’ this story on his personal Facebook page with caption “LIKE & SUBSCRIBE.”
