FADE IN:
EXT. STREETS OF MANHATTAN STOCK SHOT — NIGHT
BLIZZARD CONDITIONS. NO ONE IS ON THE STREETS.
DISSOLVE TO:
INT. GARAGE — NIGHT
ALEX AND ELAINE ARE SITTING AT THE TABLE, LISTENING TO
A SMALL TRANSISTOR RADIO, WHICH ALEX SNAPS OFF AS TONY ENTERS FROM PASSAGEWAY.
TONY
Wow! You should take a look out there. You can’t see
anything but white.
THERE IS THE SOUND OF COINS BEING PUT INTO A VENDING MACHINE, AND LEVERS BEING PULLED.
ELAINE
Radio says it’s a white out. They don’t know how many people
are trapped in their cars and the police can’t even find them.
