Did We Just Hit a Chicken?
The story of a desperate dog and a dart gun.
One of the strangest escapades of my boyhood involved two younger neighbor brothers, Jake and “Little Johnny” Jones, and their mongrel dog. The dog was at least 3 parts English sheepdog, with gray-white hair hanging in long matted strands over its sad eyes.
