But here’s the bold truth: recognizing impermanence isn’t just philosophical — it’s deeply practical. Impermanence, far from being something to fear, is a powerful ally. It offers the possibility of profound happiness, genuine freedom, and authentic presence in our daily lives.

Why We Fear Impermanence

The fear of impermanence is rooted in our ego’s insistence on control and predictability. When faced with uncertainty — whether in our careers, relationships, or even in the simple aging of our bodies — we panic. We resist, struggle, and suffer because we are desperately trying to freeze what was always meant to flow.
