Empathy

One more before the big One Zero Zero

I’m sure we’ve all been in that situation where a rather objective, factual, logical evaluation of the situation gets in the way of sympathy or empathy and then we end up feeling like shit because of guilt.

Same thing here, the big guy’s not really a jerk but then it wasn’t funny or albeit it was, but just not for him. In these situations, I often get torn between who deserves our sympathy more the person standing up there mic in hand or the person who made fun of him and then got called out for it and turns out he misread the whole thing.

On a side note, I often feel that therapists are a healthy addition to your personal cheering squad which otherwise is just family. And maybe just maybe be nicer, you never know what others are going through.

And on that surprisingly non-terrifying, rather uplifting, positive note.
