EV Charger-Rage Coming to a Gas Station Near You Soon
Taking road rage to a whole new level
I generally have a good temperament. Except when I stand in a queue.
At my local store, if someone is messing about with their coupons or can’t find their purse, I start to see red.
Same at gas stations.
Whenever someone can’t operate the VERY SIMPLE pay-at-the-pump payment facility or wanders off to the kiosk that’s been closed for five years, I feel an inner rage.
“We’re not in the 1950s anymore — no boy is coming out to serve you!” I want to shout out. “Pay at the pump, jerk!”
I’m not good in queues. Even if there’s one person in front of me — maybe a small child buying candy— my frontal lobe shuts down and my reptile brain kicks in.
Good job I don’t have an electric car.
On a recent visit back to the UK, I ended up at Oxford Services on the M40.
This must be the largest services in the world. Like a small town. With restaurants, a hotel, shops, eateries, coffee houses, burger joints, and a giant gas station (half empty).
Plus a huge electric vehicle charging area packed full of green-converts waiting patiently in…
