GOP’s Historic Truth Drought Almost at Deadpool Levels

Facts are becoming scarce as the political climate gets hotter

The amount of truth-telling by leading Republicans has fallen to such critically low levels that experts say it will reach Deadpool status by the end of the year. Deadpool is when facts dry up entirely and the ability to tell the truth breaks down.

Since the megadrought is expected to continue for the foreseeable future, some people are calling on the GOP to introduce lie rationing. Republican politicians will have to reduce the number of lies they tell by as much as 20% if the party has any chance of avoiding Deadpool status. “But it is almost impossible to enforce lie rationing in the current political climate,” said one pundit.

Another option is to find new sources of facts. However, searches for the truth among Republican candidates for the midterm elections have come up dry. “We face a grim future if truth levels do not start to rise soon. Some parts of the country have already turned into fact deserts,” said the pundit.
