Help Wanted: Planetary Protection Officer
The job is not as cool as it sounds.
Actually, the job has already been filled. NASA announced that Nick Bernardini was filling the slot as of June 7. The job is in the Office of Safety and Mission Assurance. A couple of things that we need to clarify. One, he doesn’t wear a cape and tights to work. I doubt he even wears something like a jumpsuit. And two, the job sounds kind of nerdy.
