I make no money by writing on Medium but there are undoubtedly other advantages to writing here — ones that are not obvious when you publish your first article.
This is not another ‘how I conquered Medium’ story, trust me, you need to read the following— you’re going to be shocked.
Well, I certainly was.
My first piece was published in August 2018, and it wasn’t long before my life began to change dramatically.
As a man of some years, I had reached a stage in life when the mirror was definitely no longer my friend. Things were getting regularly worse and the sight of my declining self every day was shocking. When I say gargoyle that’s not far from the truth.
But as soon as my first article was published on Medium, things began changing fast — and it wasn’t long before I became a god.
I went from pariah to Pitt, from deplorable to Depp.
I had begun to lose my hair a bit but once my second article was published on Medium, my hair began to grow fantastically and it’s now sprouting by the minute, and I have a head full of gleaming, golden locks. I’m having to tie it down it’s growing…
