— I work my fuckin ass off. I basically write ten hours a day, and do other shit on Medium like editing publications and answering responses and reading other authors. So for a full-time job, the pay is shit, but really, it’s a lot more fun than any other job I can think of, and I used to blog for free, so there’s that. I am currently living in Italy, which is awesome, and I can do this job from wherever I find myself. I am free. Totally free. True, instead of actually seeing Italy I am sitting here in the dark in my pension hammering away and for some reason still keeping Los Angeles time. But thank you Medium! — I split myself in two. A while back I created a second account, Christine's Adventures, to publish my sexier racier stories. I did this because I thought Medium was punishing me because of my x-rated material. It turned out to be a wise decision, because now Christine’s Adventures has built up enough of an audience that she makes as much as Christine Stevens — more this month, actually.
