I Was The Film Editor For A TV Series Called Adolescence — AMA
It was the hardest job of my life
Hi guys, new to Reddit. Here’s my verification. My name is Larry Montage. I’ve been a film editor in Britain for 12 years. I’ve won awards but I won’t brag here. I just love this series so much and I wanted to do anything I can to promote it so I thought I’d do this AMA.
So the first question I’m sure I’ll get it this: what was it like working on such a brilliant project?
And I’ll answer that it was brilliant. Don't you love that word, brilliant? You Americans don’t use it enough you know. We English people use it every ten or fifteen seconds. “Want some more tea love?” “Brilliant!”
Well, you might ask yourself, what’s so brilliant about that? You don’t need to be a rocket scientist to pour a cuppa, do ya?
Cuppa, that’s a nice one too. You don't need to specify what’s in the cup because you know what’s in the cup’. You’re in the land of tea, arsehole. It’s just a cuppa.
And speaking of arsehole. I don’t think Americans use that term either. It’s because they’re arseholes. They say a much ruder word which is asshole. Bunch of arseholes. Tariffs. America, go fuck yourself with your tareiff.
