Political strategist James Carville is known as the go-to guru for the Democratic Party, but he doesn’t have a clue as to what the Republicans are up to with two key races this fall — in Georgia and Ohio.
“Listen,” he said, “I’ve been in this political game for fifty years now, and I ain’t never seen a sadder example than them two numb nuts. Why’d they pick ’em?!”
He was talking about J. D. Vance running for Senate in Ohio and Herschel Walker doing the same in Georgia.
“Those guys might do all right if a broken down side show carnival was comin’ through town lookin’ for a couple of hawkers — I suppose they might get hired on— but our politics deserves much better ’n that.”
“Still — can’t turn down easy pickin’s, I suppose,” he concluded.
