Me Dealing With My Online Dating Life
Online Dating as an adult is like going to the dump and looking around for the least broken and disgusting thing.
After being actively doing online dating for a while, I think, I am going to be Single for my entire life.
I know, everyone is not the same and one size fits all is not the right thing to think. But somehow, I am attracting all kind of jerks on my way.
My Open letter is to the guy I recently get acquainted with and it made me wonder WHY and WHAT am I doing there.
Dear Sam — If I text you first on a dating app or reply instantly, it doesn’t mean I am desperate for you. I am being kind, a good human being, and saving you that 365 hours of mental and physiological therapy sessions where you would ask the same question to 10 different therapists- why are you still single?
See, I care for you and of course for your money. ‘Time is money’, you taught me this once upon a time. Remember when you canceled on me just to attend that ‘important’ work meeting that came from nowhere.
Dear Sam— When I am on a date with you, I can pay bills(or you call it a ‘check’ just to sound posh).
