Pardon Me, Joe Biden

Joe pardons his son, Hunter, in a Machiavellian move to decimate the Democrats’ moral high ground.

Military tacticians have long known that the high ground is essential to secure victory. If you can get above your enemy, your chances of victory are all but assured.

I don’t know off the top of my head when this has applied in an actual war, but I do remember Obi-Wan Kenobi gaining the high ground in a battle with Anakin Skywalker and assuring him that, due to his elevated position, the future Darth Vader could not win.

The concept of gaining the high ground is as alive and well in American politics as it is in a galaxy far, far away. Only now, the coveted position is the moral high ground, and in one fell swoop, Joe Biden has taken that from the Democratic Party and sliced off its legs with a lightsaber.

Over the weekend, Joe Biden announced that he had pardoned his beloved son, the lovable rascal Hunter. Not only that, the pardon extends to all crimes or possible crimes going back eleven years.
