President Biden announced yesterday in a multi-platformed social media blast from his TweetDeck that in an effort to give spotlight to the Native American community, he would be inviting Hawk Tuah to speak at his upcoming July Town Hall in Branson, Missouri. The move is seen as “confused, and brilliant” by some pundits and Biden believes this moment can be a turning point in his campaign stating, “Hawk Tuah is my Battle of Saratoga.”

This morning in an exclusive interview with C-SPAN, Biden was asked about his decision to invite the Hawk Tuah girl to his upcoming campaign event and said, “It’s my understanding that Hawk Tuah is the kind of person our nation needs right now to lead and bring us together, despite our differences, into the coming months, as we lead into, and beyond, the election season.” He continued, “Listen, my friends Kicking Bear and Raintree have been influential in the formation of my relationship with the Native American communities from an early age, as a hard-working little boy, sweat on my brow, calloused hands, and I believe Hawk Tuah will only further that effort.”

Additionally, in another exclusive interview with The CW Network, Biden was asked if he and spouse, Dr. Jill Biden, have met with the Hawk Tuah girl and he suggested that they have. “Dr. Jill Biden and I have had a chance to spend time with her on the plane between campaign events. Nice gal. No nonsense. She was going to a Zach Bryan concert, and we were heading to a fundraiser near Nashville at Kelly Clarkson’s ranch. Remember her from American Idol? She’s a sweet kid.”

In order to form a fast friendship, and a lasting relationship with the Hawk Tuah girl the President of the United States said that before shaking her hand, he “spit on that thing.” He remarked, “Back where I’m from, in Pennsylvania, your word is as good as gold and a man’s handshake is forged in steel, the same steel that’s harvested from the hills of Pennsylvania, by working men, men of faith, and resolve, folks in the Native American community, and because you can’t be blood brothers in modern times, spit is how we connect with each other. These people are still my brothers. Kicking Bear and Raintree. So I gave it a good hawk tuah and we shook on it, and that’s the truth, Jack. We’re excited to take the stage with her, a truly generational talent, a blue collar worker, she put in the hours, endless hours of American work to get here. She’s an inspiration to the American people, Native and otherwise.”

Biden finished one of his exclusive interviews on a local CBS network affiliate in Oshkosh, Wisconsin by saying, “God bless our new friend, and God bless the United States of America. See you in Branson, Hawk Tuah!”
