Scientists: Your Life Is A Complete Accident

Devoid of any inherent meaning whatsoever

I mean, come on people. Existentialism didn’t just go away, even if people have forgotten it. These books are still out there, by Sartre and Camus and those other depressing Frenchies.

I get it, the poor French had just gotten their ass kicked in WWII and were kind of in a dark place.

You know when you’re in a dark place you can’t think straight. That might explain how they came up with this notion of life being absurd.
