Yes, the dystopian future we’ve been promised for some time now has finally arrived, and we’re embracing it, we really are. Life has taken a serious downturn for most of us, and those little luxuries we used to enjoy like bread and water have now become unobtainable for most of us.

We’ve had to move home, of course, nobody can maintain a small business when electricity has gone up 500% and how can you pay the bills when you have no income?

You can’t heat and light your house when you can’t even afford to buy a sandwich, so we’ve now moved to a nice new house. It’s rural, and the outgoings are minimal, in fact they are nothing at all.

It’s a nice little no-up, one-down pied-à-terre in the middle of the forest. As you can see, we’ve fashioned a nice little doorway at the front with a stick for a door and there is plenty of room inside. Particularly as we’re now so much thinner than we were, having lost a joint 6 stone due to there being no food.

Well to be honest there is food, but nobody can afford it. Everything has rocketed in price and the supermarkets now have security staff with rifles standing by the…
