Things You Can Say To Boost My Confidence While Rock Climbing

So, we’re rock climbing together and now I’m stuck and (most likely) screaming my damn head off. If you’re reading this, it’s because you caught this laminated card that I threw down at you (sorry I had to tie it to a rock — I’m not exactly loving the laws of gravity right now either, pal).

Knowing me, I probably told you before we went rock climbing together that I “love it,” “do it all the time,” and am in “great shape.” All of these things are a lie that I said because I am competitive. Look at me. How could you let me do this to myself? What kind of a person are you to just go along with it? You’ve got some serious self-reflection ahead of you. But it will have to wait until you deal with something even more pressing that’s ahead of you: me. I’m panicking right now and am in serious danger. And if I die, I will do everything in my power to bring you down with me. So it is in your best interest to do something to ensure it doesn’t come to that.

Lucky for you, I’ve been in situations like this before (because I’m very trusting and always follow my heart). The only effective way to get me through this is to give me compliments that boost my confidence and motivate me to live. Here are things you can say:
