US Navy Command has revealed that a UFO steered his superyacht to within a hundred yards of a frigate in the Pacific Ocean last week, forcing the warship to take collision-avoidance action. After giving chase for several miles, the frigate was left behind when the unmarked craft accelerated and disappeared over the horizon.

“The vessel was moving incredibly fast against strong headwinds,” said a Navy spokesperson.

Its owners had concealed the vessel’s identity and did not respond when hailed by the frigate. But the Navy believes the mysterious craft is owned and operated by a Russian oligarch. “Navy personnel saw individuals jettisoning objects such as crates of caviar, gold-plated appliances, sports cars, and a few crew members to lighten the craft and increase its speed. We’ve seen this tactic deployed before by Russian oligarchs on the run,” the spokesperson said.

Sightings of UFOs on the high seas have become more common as governments sanction oligarchs and pursue them to take possession of their superyachts. As a result, the number of near-misses involving these futuristic craft has increased dramatically. Their destinations are unknown.

“It’s only a matter of time before one of these things collides with a ship,” said the Navy spokesperson. “Their engine technology enables them to outrun our fastest warships.”
