Water Finds Its Own.
How Trump Brought Washington the Foxtrot Delta Tango.
“Mr. Trump…You can’t say Ted Cruz is the biggest liar you’ve ever seen .” Steve Bannon
I don’t know where I heard it first. Someone said “Water finds its own,” and somehow it stuck. Like so many stuck things, I find it’s applicable, especially describing politics these days. Washington’s developed into a brotherhood of opposing sides and they’re getting very serious about it.
To say “I’m Republican” or “I’m a Democrat” is like carving initials in a tree. You join others who carve initials, romantics on one hand, tree maulers on the other. And just like water finding its own, you join the current. It doesn’t matter if it’s good or bad, moral or illegal. You’ve carved your initials. You’re committed.
There’s something common to all drains in Washington, a stench of power and piss. Saturday’s parade had the latter.
It’s like President Trump’s team of sycophants. They’ve followed him down the Washington sewer pipe, the drain just off Constitution Avenue. It’s no coincidence that’s where they held his birthday parade. There’s something common to all drains in Washington, a stench of power and piss. Saturday’s parade had the latter.
