“Weird” JD Vance Can’t Just Take the L
I almost feel sorry for JD Vance. Except he’s such a smug, arrogant, elitist little tool, so it’s pretty impossible. The more right-wing pundits offer up chances for him to clean up the mess on aisle catlady, the more he just digs a bigger hole for himself.
Exhibit A. Trey Gowdy’s interview with Vance on Fox News. I’ve never liked Gowdy, but he pretty much owns Vance in the intro. Gowdy clearly doesn’t like Vance’s comments, because he brings up a powerfully emotional example of 2 childless Catholic nuns he met in an airport who would clearly take issue with Vance’s boneheaded, misogynistic remarks.
Gowdy tries to throw Vance a lifeline, saying “nobody’s perfect”, and “the American people are forgiving.” Well, sure we are, but not to someone WHO REFUSES TO APOLOGIZE?!
You’d think Vance would take the hint and give a mea culpa. NOPE! He grasps for one lame excuse after another. He tried to claim he was sarcastic. Then he blames “anti-family” Dems for taking the remarks “out of context.” Out of WHAT context? Nobody asked him what he thought of people who didn’t have…
