Everybody wants Crosby Stills Nash and Young to have yet another reunion tour, because how many times do we need to see these old codgers singing those old folkie standards together — millions of times, apparently. And we will all die unless Neil Young buries the hatchet and forgives David Crosby, who apparently insulted Daryl Hannah, the star of a movie called Splash where she played a mermaid.
Well, we can understand why Neil is still holding a grudge against the silver-haired singer. We’ve had a listen to the full tape of what David Crosby really said bout Daryl Hannah, and it’s not pretty.

DAVID CROSBY: Well, I don’t know what Neil sees in this Daryl Hannah. She’s after his money. And what does Neil get in return? It can’t be much, can it? I mean, think about it. She’s a mermaid.
INTERVIEWER: Well, she did play a mermaid in the film Splash.
DAVID CROSBY: Exactly. And here’s the thing. How do you make love to a mermaid?
INTERVIEWER: I have no idea.
