White Dudes For Harris: Where Did It All Go Wrong?

After a historic loss at the hands of Donald Trump and the Republicans, what happened to the White Dudes, and what’s next?

Few movements captured the public’s attention and roused grassroots support for a scrappy candidate more than White Dudes for Harris.

The Civil Rights Movement comes to mind, even Moses leading his people out of Egypt, but both pale in comparison to the seismic impact of white dudes hopping on a Zoom call and pledging their allegiance to Kamala Harris.

Just thinking about it gives me chills. Seeing luminaries like the fat guy who does Broadway, Frodo’s fat friend from the movies, and the gay one from NSYNC speaking honestly about their hopes and fears for the future was nothing short of inspirational.

As we all know, it takes the bravery of white men to defeat the white devil. Kamala Harris, being a black South Asian woman, simply didn’t have the tools in her arsenal to overcome Donald Trump’s whiteness. She had to call in the big guns, and the White Dudes for Harris stepped up in a big, white way.
