A restless boy
Had cast his days
Of the strongest alloys.
Because in his heart
There was nothing else to be broken apart.

Forged marks under his chest
Had finally put his pain to rest.
Something much harder than he’d thought
As no help had he sought.

He then, had put into his mind
That a new girl he was to find.

Starting all over,
With miles to cover,
Not fearing the unknown
Seeking a love of his own

He had the will,
But he lacked the thrill
That provoked that chill
Through the spine.
That love sign.

Restless boy,
Looking for someone he’d enjoy.
He was not like the other boys
As he had made his days of the strongest alloys.

In his mind,
His new love,
He was to find.
Someone to think of.
So he wouldn’t stop.

Without a girl
He could assess
That he was nothing less
Than a decoy,
Of just another boy.
