Among the trees oh so tall
The sun does shine on through
The spirit of what is true
Where nature meets urban sprawl
The leaves of growth in time
Amid the houses over the hills
Where life is at a standstill
Awaiting the casting of a sign
The planet is slowly changing
The grasp of its natural system
Needing the change of human life
Ecosystems affected and ailing
Look not at the top but the stem
To the roots, the Earth in strife
