Seeing

Here I am shedding the dark

Looking forward not to the past

The light has left its mark

And I can breathe deeply at last

I look up through tall trees

The sun glowing as it shines through

I am here resting on my knees

Looking for something that is true

I ask the universe what will be

What lies ahead in my future plan

I can feel the higher force energy

As I connect with nature on the land

Tell me a story of how it will be

And I’ll open my eyes up to see
