Steps

Wandering along the winding track

Looking forward and never back

Taking each step as a new beginning

Beyond the past I am now winning

Each step is taking me closer in time

To the future that I can see is mine

And I hear the chimes ringing for me

The journey of what will be in 2019

The script will fill my own book

My story upon which others can look

As I tell a tale of true self-discovery

Opening up my own eyes and I can see

The script will continue as I flow

As I seize life and onwards I go
