“Connected by One God: The Unity and Wonder of The Real Family”
In the journey of life, we often contemplate what truly defines the wonder of a family. Is it the bonds of blood, the relatives we are born into, or the connections we instantly feel with certain souls we encounter?
At the 38th Submitters conference which happens every year by the grace of God, around 150 individuals gathered from across the world, all devoted solely to God alone.
Unity of All Submitters
Surely, those who believe, those who are Jewish, the Christians, and the converts; anyone who (1) believes in GOD, and (2) believes in the Last Day, and (3) leads a righteous life, will receive their recompense from their Lord. They have nothing to fear, nor will they grieve. (Quran 2:62)
As one, our unity displayed a strong bond. Gathered in Vancouver, the conference was a blessed occasion where like-minded brothers and sisters in faith united to commemorate God, discuss ideas, and share their transformative journeys that led us to bask in God’s light. It felt like a soul-enriching feast, even though it felt too short to fully relish.
In this gathering, we met new faces, connected with kindred spirits anew. Some voices were familiar, and it was heartwarming to reunite with these beautiful souls. The event featured inspiring speeches that touched our hearts deeply, and the beautiful melodies sung by talented members resonated with us. We joined together in unity, expressing our joy by singing our Lord’s praises.
As the conference came to a close, we bid adieu with hopeful hearts, eagerly anticipating the next gathering. For in this convergence and every year, we discover the true essence of a family, bound together by one GOD!
GOD will certainly reward them for their good works, and will shower them with His grace. GOD provides for whomever He wills without limits. (Quran 24:38)
