Climb Out Of It…
It’s always a treat to find a penny when all you went looking for was a quarter.

“Climb out of what?”, you say. Well your trapped psyche which lets you from being truly social, not just social online. With the world gone digital, it has become the norm to make friends across the continent but continue in an awkward silence while going up the elevator sharing it with your neighbour. You might be having friends at the other end of the city joining you for yet another house party, but you fail to invite that guy living across the hall who, for all you know, might be having the same kind of taste in music or enjoy the same sport as you do. HereNow has not just managed to successfully find an ingenious solution around such social situations, but is also being used as a platform for activities we least expected on the app this soon.
Only recently, HereNow provided a very unique but simple solution to one of our users who wanted to load off a few books. Her previous attempts at using different online platforms to catch the attention of the right buyer were in vain. Of course there are online re-selling platforms, but why look for buyers across the country when somebody in your neighbourhood might be interested in buying them from you. The girl next door? If only you could knock on her doors and ask if she wanted to buy your books. But you are no door-to-door vendor, nor can you possibly know which door to knock at. Well, neither did our user and so, before admitting defeat, she decided to put it up on HereNow. One click and a few messages later, she ended up having a lighter shelf and a heavier wallet! :)
Since she was able to sell her books to somebody from her neighbourhood, it completely eliminated the unnecessary baggage of traveling through distances in Namma Bengaluru.
And through all of this, the cherry which we like to cherish is that we helped connect two people with common interests who were just a hop away. Who knows where that could lead to!
