Others have more resources. They have more and smarter people working for them. They are better funded. They have better partnerships. They live in more connected places. They are luckier.

There is always a reason why someone can do the thing you want to do better…

But the one thing they can’t outcompete you in is time. Time is the ultimate equalizer. It doesn’t matter who you are — we all have only 24 hours in a day, 7 days in a week and 365 days in a year.

It all comes down to how you spend it. And this is completely up to you. You can play another round of Angry Birds. You can live someone else’s life on Facebook. Or you can sit down and make progress on the project you’re passionate about. Call a customer and validate your model. Write some code or build some hardware.

Spend your time wisely — as this is truly the level playing field for all of us.
