A Modern Jail
Sometimes I wonder why I am spending much time thinking of these things, it’s the university, that I feel like it’s like a big jail that is guarded by the culture’s boundaries, most of the doctors are repeating themselves without letting us discover the world in our own, I have a doctor that still giving us an example from his FORTRAN-AGE in his classes, he is not following, he don’t care much about the content he’s giving us, and the worst, they tell you that they are inevitable, they are like JAVA strings.
I know disrespecting others is not a good thing, but they are abusing the idea of education, they take attendance each time, they care about two things in life “Attendance & Marks” they don’t care what you will do with this knowledge, they should care, at least not to look like an old dude showing a colorless TV to sell it to people in the age of LED TVs, they are late in technology even if they majored in it, they hold PHDs and put this title before their names everywhere, like it means something, there are too many PHD holders who abused this title also, abusing to the major of computer science, and we still wonder why we can’t find many developers who find it as a hobby not only a science.
I think there is no bigger flaw in the education system more than the educator flaws.
I live in the Middle East, Jordan, Amman, and I can see why we are not developing, because we let anyone teach even if they aren’t capable, we don’t respect teachers, we have been raised to hate the education, I wish if we will able to change this in the future, but that’s what I do really feel, it’s like jails they put us in to keep us away from streets.
