Magda Goebbels was the wife of Joseph Goebbels, who was the Propaganda Minister of Nazi Germany and a very close ally of Adolf Hitler. Magda had seven children, six from Joseph and one from her previous marriage to Güther Quandt.

She joined the Nazi party in September 1930, it was around that time she met Joseph Geobells. She would volunteer for the party and, in the process made a lot of connections.

She and Joseph Goebbels got romantically involved that year. She married him on 19 December 1931. Hitler himself was a witness at their wedding. Over the years, the family grew closer to Hitler. In the 1930s Hitler would visit their apartment in Berlin regularly and, they would talk for hours. Hitler would put their daughter Helga in his lap and play with her.

Magda played a huge role in Hitler’s life. Many historians regard her as the unofficial first lady of Nazi Germany.
