The current happenings in our daily lives and past happened in our history has one significant thing in common: idea.

The idea which transformed human lives from nomad to global citizen. The cooperative scientific ideas from Pythagorus to Astrophysicist Neil Degrasse Tyson. From Nikola Tesla to Elon Musk in entrepreneurship.

In a historical sense, the foundational bedrock of any movement, revolution and war, is idea. For instance, the idea behind the French Revolution of 1789 is Liberty, Equality and solidarity. One of the prime catalysts for the French Revolution was the enlightenment. Enlightenment thinkers of the 18th century revolutionized the thinking ability of people. They instilled rationalist criticism and made a revolutionary spirit. This revolutionary spirit initiated one of the greatest historical upheavals in the history of Europe and the world in times to come.

Another aspect of history is war. Direct i.e. two or more countries would confront is also germinated from idea. We will discuss here a cold war. After the Russian Revolution of 1917 communism as an idea became an inspiration to many colonized countries. Colonized countries dreamed of their country like Russia. Then the Second World War happened. After WW2, two camps were established. One is countries of capitalism and another is communism. One is led by the United States of America(USA)and another is the United Soviet Socialist Republic(USSR). The space race, nuclear arms race, sphere of influence etc. all happened because of a single constant i.e. idea of who dominates whom!

And lastly, the movement. A movement is gradual change. One of the greatest political movements in the history of mankind is the Indian National Movement i.e.freedom struggle. The idea was to get independence from British rule.

Since the Battle of Plassey of 1757, the Britishers gradually consolidated power over India.

The Indians revolted after a century in 1857. Before that, there were social reforms movements, Socio-religious movements. Then in 1885 to continue the movement against foreign British rule an organization was formed and that was the Indian National congress. Congress successfully paved the path of independence in 1947. The significant personalities were Mahatma Gandhi, Nehru,Sardar Patel, etc. Ideas of Truth and non-violence were the ideas of the Indian national movement. So idea matters the most!
