Now look, you know it right?
While waiting for the throne, Charles III turned 73 years old.

Now that the throne is not empty, so others have to keep waiting.

Earlier, princes used to get bored with long-lived fathers. The throne was needed for them also.

Many times the grandsons also grew up into an adult. And the emperor was in no mood to step down from the throne. Prince Salim also had to rebel against his father Akbar. In Kashmir, Didda, (also known as Catherine of Kashmir) had his real sons and grandsons murdered.

At least twice in Nepal, the dynasty rulers were murdered.

In Saudi Arabia, King Faisal was shot to death by his nephew, Prince Khalid.

We can conclude that every system where the ruler remains the king till his last breath will create a conspirator.

Some communists may be furious about this. But let me tell you that in no book of Carl Marx it is written that once someone becomes the head of the nation, he/she should remain the head of the nation till his last breath.

I often think that it would have been better if Mao Zadong or Josef Stalin had abdicated after ten years and a new ruler was democratically elected.

Democracy is why I like it better than every dynast who also works hard to establish himself/herself.
