FACE Your Fear — P2 Poster

When faced with the task of creating a poster that glorifies a specific idea, I decided that stimulation was the personal value I wanted to choose. The defining goals of stimulation include novelty, excitement, and challenge in life. The value would be how I’m selling my idea, which in this case is facing one’s fears, hence the title of the poster. I feel like each and every one of us has something we fear, whether it is clear to you or not. Something that we avoid or a situation we feel uncomfortable in. In my poster, the specific fear that I pick on is the fear of heights, also known as acrophobia. This is one of the biggest or most common fears in the world so I used it for my illustration. I also included a face on the right of the poster to face the man on top of the mountain so that he is literally facing his fear. Overcoming one’s fears gives us opportunity for great challenge in life that we must all endure in order to grow.
