For this, I am going to look at how the east affects the west in the way of product design, but specifically packaging design. The article “Creative Japanese Packaging & Product Design” was extremely interesting. Some of these amazing designs are extremely creative. Often, we do not appreciate designs from cultures other than our own, but some of the greatest innovations and technologies come from those. America is often always portraying itself as the best, but in many was eastern cultures are better in manufacturing, design, and technology. These Japanese packaging ideas are just some of the examples of how other countries are far ahead of the USA.
