Trump reign of comedic terror syncs up PERFECTLY with Pink Floyd’s Dark Side of the Moon, (Wizard of Oz now sad … sad.)
Hit ‘start’ on your players … right … now.

There is a certain phenomenon that many of you may have heard about, where if you watch the Wizard of Oz, and, at the exact right moment (between the 2nd & 3rd roar of the MGM lion), hit “play” on Pink Floyd’s “Dark Side of the Moon,” they sync up perfectly, in a way that is equal parts eerie, whimsical, terrifying and delightful. It’s like an intense music video (but DARK … WAY darker than watching the original Wizard of Oz in the ordinary way, and THAT, in itself, was pretty dark).
Now, it’s come to my attention, via sources (such as the voices inside my head), that if you put on ANY Trump footage whilst simultaneously listening to “Dark Side of the Moon,” it syncs up perfectly.
However, for the true listening experience, here’s a handy guide.
Now, while side one of the album syncs up with anything Trump, side 2 is where it gets really INTERESTING. Here’s the track list.

So, here’s what I want you to do. Sync up side 1 with Trump’s intial “On both sides, on BOTH sides” speech* about Charlottesville which fits perfectly,
*(which will one day be historically linked to Kennedy’s speeches whenever there’s a needed, easy, example of something that’s the exact opposite of something).
But THEN, dear, cherished readers, who I adore beyond words, sync up side two with Trump’s insane, rambling, incoherent THIRD speech, which future historians will one day liken to “tragically unfortunate verbal diarrhea” in his original oration, and “the written equivalent of fecal spray” for the printed transcript. Start the first track on this list; the moment Trump first toddles onto the screen, in a mist of incoherent lunacy … and …It matches PERFECTLY.
Look up the lyrics for “US and Them,” or, actually, you know what? Forget that. Look at the very bottom of this article, I don’t want to lose you to another link, I’m too selfish when it comes to the limited time we have together. :)

FUN FACT:
Pink Floyd was originally fronted by a young man named Syd Barrett, who wrote all the band’s songs, was the lead singer, played lead guitar, and at the height of the moment when Pink Floyd began to become popular …
SAD FACT:
… he lost his mind, by which I mean his friends and family, the people who loved him, and, also, the band he grew up with and led, no longer recognized him or could get through to him. Many of Pink Floyd’s BEST songs were in tribute to Barrett— “Brain Damage,” “Wish You Were Here,” “Welcome to the Machine,” “Have a Cigar,” and “Shine On You Crazy Diamond (Parts I–IX),” are great examples of musical tributes for their beloved and fallen comrade, who was overtaken and devoured by his own demons.

What’s the connection between Trump and Syd Barrett? The similarity is eerily inherent in that:
- Pink Floyd had a situation where someone they loved, went clinically insane in a way that prevented him from performing, and eventually, from writing, music, and kept him from being able to socialize and communicate with others in even the most basic ways. Syd Barrett became trapped inside his own mind’s prison, his obvious genius locked away forever, and the irony is: his two post-Floyd solo albums, actually hold up quite well with the indie music of today, almost half a decade later, and were an influence to many great musicans in the ensuing years.
And here’s the polar opposite,
- WE have a situation where someone whose guts we hate, has gone clinically insane in a way that prevents him from doing anything presidential, sane, helpful, non-toxic, or even reasonably between all known realms of coherency. Trump has never created anything useful, or artistic, and CERTAINLY didn’t write any good songs. (I know this without even having to investigate this, due to my finely honed journalistic instincts). HIS prison will be external, via Robert Savior Mueller, and his LEGACY will be one of idiocy, and be a mark on America … a stain which will influence many future presidents to be WAY less idiotic as a result.
Now, if you read the lyrics below at the bottom, you’ll see the very ironic synchronization of this one, exact, moment in history, a song that once was about Syd Barrett, and now, sadly, is about Donald Trump.

Pink Floyd — Us And Them Lyrics
Us and them
And after all we’re only ordinary men.
Me and you
God only knows it’s not what we would choose to do.
‘Forward’ he cried from the rear
And the front rank died.
The general is sat and the lines on the map
Move from side to side.
Black and blue
And who knows which is which and who is who.
Up and down
And in the end it’s only round and round. And round.
‘Haven’t you heard it’s a battle of words’
The poster bearer cried.
‘Listen son’ said the man with the gun,
‘There’s room for you inside.’
“Well I mean, they’re gonna kill ya, so like, if you give ’em a quick sh…short, sharp shock, they don’t do it again. Dig it? I mean he got off light, ’cause I coulda given ‘im a thrashin’ but I only hit him once. It’s only the difference between right and wrong innit? I mean good manners don’t cost nothing do they, eh?”
Down and out
It can’t be helped but there’s a lot of it about.
With, without.
And who’ll deny it’s what the fighting’s all about?
Out of the way, it’s a busy day
I’ve got things on my mind.
For want of the price of tea and a slice
The old man died.
