Mexico takes the “Americas.”
Blame the rename blame game.
Mexico City, Mexico, 8:45 AM, 1/28/25
In what is obviously a tit-for-tat move, or maybe an “oro por oro” in this case, the President of Mexico has renamed all of the “Americas.”
They are now all “Méxicos” on a Mexican map.
North America? Now Norte México.
Central America? Now Central México.
South America? Now Sur México
“If the people of the United States of America want a fight they got one,” said Mexican President Pardo. “I’m sorry, the people of (air quotes) North Mexico (end air quotes) want a fight, they got one,” she soon after jabbed in her CNN interview.
All of this, of course, is a response to the “North Mexican” President Trump changing the name of “The Gulf of Mexico” to “The Gulf Of America.”
“She can call them whatever she wants, for now, just like I can,” said Trump on X. “We’ll just make Mexico another state like we will Canada soon enough. THEN THERE WON'T BE ANY MORE DEBATE! SHE’S DUMB!”
This is a developing story.
