Monday, July 17th — It’s the start of one of the biggest weeks in Star Atlas. Here’s four things that you should be expecting to see this week from the team.

1. Star Atlas at Play GG

On Tuesday, Star Atlas will make a grand appearance at Solana’s Play GG event in San Diego. The two day event will showcase dozens of games including Star Atlas. CEO Michael Wagner is expected to deliver a presentation to a live audience.

Over the past few weeks, the team has been hinting at some pretty major announcements during the event, although it hasn’t been confirmed what those announcements could be.

2. A Star Atlas Mobile App

Of any of the possible announcements that Star Atlas could make at the event, the revelation of a Star Atlas mobile companion app seems to be the most likely.

Over recent weeks, the team has hinted at the strong possibility that details on the mobile companion app could be revealed. In a recent tweet, Wagner said that Star Atlas would be running one hell of a promo and to get the ships ready. The announcement of a broad-appeal mobile game could be just the type of promotion event that’s been hinted at.

We know that the mobile app will be tied to some sort of crew mechanic for ships. Wagner also revealed recently that there will be additional income potential for ship owners coming in the future.

3. CORE Episode 7

After a two month hiatus, the Star Atlas graphic novel series CORE will be making its return to the digital shelves of the Star Atlas Marketplace. Episode seven will begin the second act of the 18 part story, and players will be able to continue the adventures of the story’s heroes after the act one cliff hanger.

Images of the covers were leaked online recently by a pretty reliable source of star atlas info.

4. Never Alone Mission Two.

Also taking place on Tuesday, the second mission of the Star Atlas Never Alone Campaign will officially kick off. Players can expect an entirely new set of missions to earn three tiers of memories, as adventures work throughout the year to restore Saa’nds memories.

Those that qualified for memories in Star Atlas Never Alone Mission One can expect an airdrop on Wednesday for their rewards.

The exact method for turning memories into rewards for mission one hasn’t been revealed yet, but it does appear that players will have until September to complete some of mission one’s quests with a second airdrop coming in the future.
