July 25th —Citing a lack of external funding, Star Atlas has reduced its workforce by 73%

Key Takeaways from the Announcement

· Approximately 122 people were let go, or roughly 73% of the remaining workforce after FTX. This includes external Spearsoft developers that were working on UE5. 45 people now remain working for ATMTA

· UE5 development is now on an extended timeline. Marketplace, DAO, and Faction Fleet and Faction claims will be maintained at a lower priority. SAGE and Mobile app that was announced at Play GG are the top priority

· Each of the Founders, including Wagner, have taken a pay cut. Potential as low as $36,000 dollars a year per Florida state laws.

· Runway extended up to a year and beyond as a direct result of workforce reduction.
