What is Valannia?

Valannia is a massively multiplayer online (MMO) strategy game set in a fantasy world. It combines elements of traditional MMO role-playing games (RPGs) with real-time strategy (RTS) gameplay. Players can choose from eight different races, each with unique characteristics, and customize their heroes as they progress through the game.

Valannia is a game being developed in Unreal Engine 5. As a blockchain game, Valannia is also being developed on the Solana blockchain. Unlike traditional MMO games, Valannia offers players the opportunity to trade heroes, items, and currency as NFTs to other players, representing true digital ownership of player achievements.

What is Valannia Arena?

Prior to launching the full MMORPG experience, the developers of Valannia intend to launch a early product experience titled Valannia Arena.

Valannia Arena is designed to give players a taste of the full Valannia experience. It allows players to:

Valannia is represented by 8 different factions or races.

The eight factions in Valannia are:

Altari: Noble humanoid owls that are masters of archery and ranged combat.
Zan’Thar: Mysterious beings with unique telekinetic abilities.

Tyxen: Technologically advanced rodents skilled in engineering.
Pirith: Dark nature spirits skilled in necromancy.
Feyrune: Nature-loving druids and faeries with healing abilities.

Professions and Jobs

Like all MMOs, Valannia offers a number of jobs and professions that players can level up with their character. Not all professions have been announced but here’s a few we know about so far:

Guilds and Territory

In any MMO, groups of players form guilds to connect with other players and tackle some of the games greatest challenges. Valannia is no different. Additionally, guilds in Valannia will be able to conquer and claim territory for their guild, yielding additional resources and gold for their guild.

Guilds can find and build outposts, structures, and unique encampments in Valannia’s Yellow or Red Zones. However, PVP is enabled in these zones and guilds must be able to defend their territory.
