It’s Valentine’s Day week and no matter where you are in the world or your relationship status, this holiday tends to impact us all in some way or another.

I invite you to bring that experience to the page and experiment with some poetry.

Whether it’s your favourite thing to write or something you’ve never tried, I’d like you to challenge yourself.

On a platform like Medium, we are exposed to a multitude of writing styles, subject matters, and formats but it is so easy to get stuck/comfortable in our own little corners and habits of how we approach our creativity.
