So much has been said about Atomic Habits since its publication in 2018, but on a recent reread this sentence jumped out at me and I couldn’t stop it echoing.
Busyness culture is finally on the way out, we value our mental and emotional wellbeing, and in a post covid world we understand that working smarter and not harder is the more productive and sustainable way forward. But even with these changes, why do we spend so much time talking, planning and going through the motions on things, rather than doing?
Preparing can feel productive, but it often keeps us on the edge of action without fully committing. So is it just another form of procrastination?
