Limiting capacity

One of the favorite demands of gun control advocates is to limit the legal capacity of a magazine to some arbitrary number — typically ten, since our ancestors in the Lower Carboniferous Period had five digits on each paw. The State of New York tried to trim that down to seven rounds, but that was tossed out for being silly.
