Diver watches are known for their durability, strength, whether it is jumping off a helicopter or diving hundreds of meters down the ocean, these timepieces never let you down. However, these watches as cool as they look tend to cost a fortune, so here are some of the best diver watches that cost $10,000 or less.

1. Longines HydroConquest 44mm Quartz

The cheapest on the list costing just a grand, is the Longines HydroConquest Quartz Blue. Being a quartz watch definitely helps bring the price tag down but don’t let that discourage you, there is not much sacrifice when it comes to looks. The swiss luxury watchmaker is remarkable and this watch is a masterpiece at the price. The watch looks sporty and elegant at the same time which is a rare combination, the accuracy of quarts and the looks of a diver makes it a great first purchase in your diver collection.

Price $1,000 (~ C$1,100)

2. Seiko Prospex SPB 143

Number two on my list is Seiko Prospex SPB 143. An absolute steal at the price, the watch carries simplicity of a Seiko and the feel of a diver. The grey/black dial fits perfectly with the slightly darkened three-link steel bracelet, almost giving it a titanium look at times.

Price $1,200 ~ C$1,500

3. Tudor Pelagos

Tudor, owned by Rolex, has a similar history yet a different story behind it. A brand once associated with the common man, has come a long way. The Pelagos is Tudor’s premier diver, at least in my opinion. The submariner looks, the well built frame and the matte finished bracelet makes it one of the watches available in the under $5,000 category.

Price $4,400 ~ C$5,500

4. Tudor Black Bay 58

Another Tudor on the list? sure. Both the watches are comparable to their bigger (and significantly more expensive) counterparts, the submariners. The Black Bay 58 has a similar look and feel to that of the Pelagos but with the addition of the brownish cream patina and the 39 mm polished steel case and satin finish.

$3,700 ~ C$4,600

5. Rolex Oyster Perpetual Submariner

Probably my favorite watch on list is the Rolex Oyster Perpetual Submariner, with the name Rolex comes the quality that is sure to live on for decades if not centuries. The watch one of the first of its kind led a trend of diver watches, truly a masterpiece in all categories. At the very end of our budget this watch would cost you that $10,000 if you are lucky but it’s probably going to be around 11 or 12k.

$10,000 ~ C$12,500
