Blinders On

…in wicker

I’ve been sitting
in this wicker chair
for over two hours now

Staring

wearing

out my welcome
this sunny day

Today | dreaming

past | leaning

future | scheming

All of it seeming ly
productive

until

I realize
the blinds
have been closed
the whole time
