along the coast — somewhere in Sri Lanka. pic by the author.

Skies to never lie, waves to conspire — my blue sea, oh the blue sea!
But you were gone — for too long, my love, far too long.
Eyes behold what the heart buries, in the Horizon — of Events glee,
Skies to never lie, waves to conspire — my blue sea, oh the blue sea!
In that blink, I bring to being the very — Universe — upon a single desire’s plea,
Castles in the sand, tides to crash, that one blithe unsung hero’s song.
Skies to never lie, waves to conspire — my blue sea, oh the blue sea!
But you were gone — for too long, my love, far too long.
