Remembering Our Place

Setting self free

Absent is the Hooter’s breath
— by day or night
no calls to the other raptors true.

Caught on the monolith of greater ease
— as if another tugging
on ancient shores.

Switch bate
mountaintop
ocean breeze.

Remaining forever
amid quarantine
and fingers tweeze.

Who! Who!

Return not the summer’s breeze
— but twisted tales and cooling songs.

Who! Who!

Forgotten not — why we are here.

Much gratitude for those who take time to read, ponder, and allow the inner workings of self to come forward. Grateful for the feedback, love shared, and, more importantly, the Dance with Inspiration. Deep Peace.
